The Onam-2008
celebrations organized by Southend Malayalee Association proved to
be a splendid affair this year as well. High-spirited memebrs of SMA
celebrated Onam with gaiety and fervour. The celebrations held at
Eastwood Community Centre, Southend won mass attention, with the
traditional cultural attractions of Kerala adding colour and spice
to the events. There was a variety of dance, music as well as drama
performances by the members of SMA.
The programme ended with a raffle draw and dinner. SMA coordination
committee thanked everyone for the overwhelming support for making
this event very successful
